Aksarben Curling is dedicated to growing the Olympic sport of curling in the region.
Our vision is to make curling a lifelong sport that can be enjoyed by all ages, skill levels, and physical abilities, and to build an inclusive and welcoming community through the spirit of curling.
We do this by teaching the sport through educational and instructional events; facilitating youth and nationally competitive college teams; hosting leagues and tournaments; facilitating social activity for members; and promoting the sport through local, regional, and national partnerships.
The Aksarben Curling Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that's been curling in Omaha, Nebraska since 1958. We curl on five sheets at Baxter Arena in Omaha, NE (2425 S 67th St, Omaha, NE 68182). Aksarben Curling is affiliated with the United States Curling Association (USA Curling or USCA), the United States Women's Curling Association (USWCA), and the Mid-America Curling Association (MACA).
Aksarben Curling proudly joined with Baxter Arena and the Omaha Sports Commission to co-host the 2018 Olympic Curling Team Trials on November 11-18, 2017 and the 2022 Olympic Curling Team Trials on November 13-21, 2021.
