Irish Open Bonspiel 2026

Join us for for Aksarben Curling's annual bonspiel, the Irish Open Bonspiel!

Out of town registration: opens December 1, 2025
General registration: opens January 1, 2026

• Games: 3-game guarantee, 8-end games
• Teams: 24 teams / 96 players (individuals are encouraged to sign up — we'll pair you with a team!)
• First Draws: Friday 6pm, Friday 8:30pm, Saturday 9am (4 teams); preferences prioritized for out of town teams
• Last Draw: Sunday 12pm
• Mini-games w/prizes: every Friday and Saturday draw
• Awesome raffle prizes and 50/50
• Broomstacking at Backlot Taphouse (2110 S 67th St Suite 108)
• Location: Baxter Arena’s Holland Ice, 2425 S 67th St, Omaha, NE (lots of nearby hotels and great local restaurants in Aksarben Village!)

Hotel block rooms available: Rooms available for $119/night at the Hilton Garden Inn at 6737 Frances St (just a 2 minute walk from our broomstacking location).Learn more and book your room by Friday, March 6.
